Made Men Promotions returns to Cleveland this weekend with 18 fights for Live MMA at NEO 2

Made Men Promotions will make their return to Cleveland this weekend, “Live MMA at NEO 2” goes down at the NEO Sports Plant. A total of 18 bouts are set for the card, including three in the pro ranks.

In the main event, Cleveland native Tobiaus Taylor welcomes Tennessee’s Alexander Schenk to the Buckeye State. Taylor has a 6-6 record and is ranked as the No. 1 pro featherweight in Ohio according to Tapology. He comes in off of a split decision win over Edward Massey in his last MMA bout last June, and he has gone 1-1 in kickboxing fights in the interim.

Schenk holds a 4-3 MMA record and also has experience in boxing and bareknuckle MMA. He comes in looking to rebound from a decision loss in his last outing at Combate Global in December.

The co-main event features two unbeaten pros, as 1-0 Dusty Shaffer welcomes 2-0 Kyle Zimick to Ohio. Shaffer won his pro debut via arm bar in January, while Wisconsin’s Zimick has both of his wins via choke.

The third pro bout features heavyweights, as Dylan Rinck makes his pro debut against 0-1 Will Baxter. Rinck posted a 7-3 amateur record with 5 knockouts, but he competes for the first time since his last amateur bout 18 months ago. Baxter looks to rebound from a decision loss in his pro debut last May.

The amateur card features 15 bouts, including a heavyweight contest pitting 2023 Ohio MMA News Amateur Knockout of the Year winner RJ Harris against Luis German. Harris is 2-0 and German is 1-0, and all three bouts have ended via first round knockout. Harris recently joined the Ohio MMA Podcast to discuss his 9-second knockout win and background winning toughman contests.

Undefeated flyweight Alfonso Morales will put his 3-0 record on the line when he faces 2-2 Joe LaRocca, and 2-0 Leland Jernigan faces unbeaten 1-0 Chris Zollars at heavyweight.

Live MMA at NEO 2 streams live via iPPV on Combat Sports Now.
