Maricela Cornejo makes weight, challenges Claressa Shields for middleweight title

Two-division undisputed world champion Claressa Shields (13-0, 2 KOs) defends her middleweight title against top-ranked contender Maricela Cornejo (16-5, 6 KOs) in the main event at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday, June 3. The championship clash airs live stream on DAZN.

Cornejo who is a late replacement after Hanna Gabriels was forced to pull out due to a failed drug test. She enters this fight on the back of a first round knockout win over Sheila Cunha in March.
