On February 5th, PBC presents Keith Thurman vs Mario Barrios live on FITE straight from Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
In the main event of the evening the former world champions Keith “One Time” Thurman collides with Mario “El Azteca” Barrios in a high-stakes 12-round welterweight showdown. And in the co-main event the four-division world champion Leo “El Terremoto” Santa Cruz faces off Keenan “Bedo” Carbajal in a 10-round super featherweight match.
Thurman (29-1, 22 KOs), last seen in the ring against Manny Pacquiao in July of 2019, has been out of competition due to injury, his daughter’s birth, and COVID. Only have fought twice in the last five years, there are some questions as to how he will look against former Super Lightweight champion Mario Barrios.
Barrios (26-1, 17 KOs) is coming off a loss in a firework of a fight against Gervonta “Tank” Davis, in which he lost his super-lightweight belt and is now moving up in weight to meet Thurman at 147 lbs.
