Wrestling Underground 1 Recap
Wrestling Underground 1 was the inaugural event of Chael Sonnen’s new love child. Sonnen has already had massive success with Submission Underground which has hosted 17 events to date. Wrestling Underground looks to copy that promotional plan except with wrestling.
The matches take place in a cage and the first card featured some giant names in wrestling with Olympic hopefuls, professional MMA fighters, Greco Romans, and NCAA All-Americans.
Wrestling Underground 2 already has some steam with wrestling star, Bo Nickal, throwing his name in the hat for the next event. The card is reportedly to take place this December. It’s unclear if Sonnen will bring out the mats or keep it in a cage.
As more info on WUG 2 comes out, we will be sure to keep you posted on all the latest as the card fills out. Expect some stellar matchmaking on the second card, much like the first.
Stay posted to My MMA News for all the latest news surrounding Wrestling Underground and future cards output together by the undefeated, undisputed, never lost a round, Chael Sonnen. Thanks for reading!
