Jessica Penne vs Hannah Goldy set for UFC 260

Returning fighter Jessica Penne vs Hannah Goldy set for UFC 260

Jessica Penne vs Hannah Goldy is going down at UFC 260. The location and venue has yet to be announced for this strawweight prizefight.

The initial reporting of this March 27th bout comes via MMA Junkie. Multiple sources close to the bout spoke under the condition of anonymity.

Both are making comebacks after meaningful hiatus’. But in Penne versus Goldy, the former has been on the shelf for longer than the latter.

Jessica Penne has been outside of the cage for almost four years after being levied a USADA suspension. The four-year sentence was subsequently reduced to 20 months.

This is all retroactive to April 2019. That means Penne will now be available to take this fight booking for the end of 2021’s first quarter.

Those trace levels of Stanozolol marked the second violation of the UFC’s anti-doping policy for Penne.

Jessica Penne vs Hannah Goldy

Jessica Penne has previously challenged for the UFC strawweight belt. That June 2015 TKO loss to Joanna Jędrzejczyk set off a three-fight losing skid that Penne presently finds herself on.

The former Invicta FC atomweight champion has a 1-3 record in the octagon so far. Penne’s lone UFC victory came via split decision to Randa Markos at The Ultimate Fighter 20 season finale.

For Goldy, she’ll be returning after a meaningful hiatus in her own right albeit a shorter one. 24K last got out there to compete in August 2019.

The 2019 Contender Series alum is seeking out her first UFC victory and to rebound from an octagon setback.

The first loss of Hannah Goldy’s pro-MMA career came in her UFC debut. Goldy’s defeat to Miranda Granger occured via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 5.

The 5-1 MMA fighter also holds a notable victory over Gillian Robertson.

UFC 260 is headlined by a rematch for the heavyweight championship between defending titlist Stipe Miocic and devastating KO artist Francis Ngannou.
