Rough N’ Rowdy is Back: RnR 17 takes place May 20th

Amateur boxing promotion Rough N’ Rowdy returns on May 20th with a night of 20 no-headgear amateur boxing bouts. The promotion’s 17th event is being deemed “Bad Blood” and will feature multiple title bouts, Jell-O wrestling, a ring girl contest, and matchups that place West Virginians against Pennsylvanians.

The West Virginia promotion is owned by Barstool Sports, and trust me, it is nothing like you’ve ever seen.

The idea behind the bizarre promotion, per their website, is to place “amateur fighters with no defense” into a ring to throw “haymakers” and generate “maximum chaos.”

The promotion claims to put on “the funniest most action-packed evening you’ll ever have,” and they really do.

Check out some highlights of previous events:

The “unparalleled absurdity” of Rough N’ Rowdy 17 is set to begin at 8 p.m. EST on May 20th at the Wesbanco Arena in Wheeling, WV.

The event’s main event is to feature a brawl. between undefeated armatures, Big D**k Booty Daddy (2-0) vs. Lights Out Laing (6-0). The night will also feature fighters under the height of 4’5” and the return of Hot Wheelz.

You can purchase the pay-per-view for $29.99 on the RnR website or attend the event in person by clicking here.
