NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 29 Returns to Two-Block Format

Puroresu fans rejoice! 

As announced at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestling Dontaku 2022, the Best of the Super Juniors tournament is returning to its traditional two-block format. In addition to the traditional format, BOSJ is also returning to its traditional May-June spot on the professional wrestling calendar.  

The 29th tournament will kick off on May 15 at Nagoya Congress Hall Event Center in Aichi Prefecture and conclude on June 3 at the famed Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.  

BOSJ 29 will also feature a full complement of foreign talent for the first time since 2019.  In addition to NJPW wrestlers, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Impact Wrestling, Major League Wrestling (MLW), GLEATEl, Ring of Honor (ROH), and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will be represented.
