VIDEO: Lone’er Kavanagh Scores Highlight Reel KO over Ryan Morgan at Cage Warriors 134

Lone’er Kavanagh (2-0) scored a highlight-reel KO over Ryan Morgan (1-0) to open the show at Cage Warriors 134 this evening at The Indigo in London.

The undefeated 22-year-old flyweight put on a striking clinic en route to a third-round stoppage over Morgan.

Kavanagh’s speed, timing, and fight IQ were on full display in round 1, repeatedly landing damaging kicks and impactful punches on his 36-year-old opponent to take the round.

The Great Britain Top Team prospect inflicted a punishing calf kick in the second round, which forced Morgan to the canvas. Though Kavanagh was momentarily dropped after Morgan caught him with a flush right hook in an exchange, the Londoner immediately recovered to his feet, and finished the round strong.

Kavanagh continued to punish Morgan with brutal calf and body kicks to open round three, but it was his fast hands that dealt the finishing blows of the contest. After initially evading a right hook from Morgan, Kavanagh landed a lead left-hook on Morgan’s guard. But when Morgan threw a follow-up left hook, Kavanagh again evaded, this time exacting as flush a one-two combo as you’ll see to crumple Morgan and shut his lights out.

Lone’er Kavanagh, who trains under UK MMA legend Brad Pickett, advances to 3-0 and announces himself as a serious prospect in the Cage Warriors flyweight division.
