RAF13 Celebrates South Florida Return; Chimaev and Covington Remain Undefeated Ahead of Las Vegas
Miami, FL (Sept 19, 2026) – Real American Freestyle (RAF), the new home for the sport’s elite, hosted its fifteenth event following RAF Russia at Coral Gables’s Watsco Center. The event brought together over twelve distinct world, national and Olympic champs. Competitors included The Real Tarzann, Chance Marsteller, Joe Pyfer, and Gilbert Burns, all of whom stepped on the RAF mats for the first time. Notably, Cayden Henschel won the Featherweight Crossover championship, Arsen Harutyunyan won the Bantamweight Championship, while Jason Nolf, Kennedy Blades, and Colby Covington defended their belts yet again.

RAF next continues its cross-country tour finally hitting the combat sports capital for RAF14 Las Vegas on October 23 at the Fontainebleau. The event features a headline bout between Dillon Danis and Arman Tsaruykan, followed by a massive matchup against Lucia Yepez for Sarah Hildebrandt’s return. Roman Bravo-Young, Nick Suriano and Michael “Venom” Page join for their RAF debuts. Notable competitors include American legend Jordan Burroughs, Vito Arujau, and Jordan Oliver.
RAF13 was special as it saw the winner of RAF Undiscovered, Jeremiah Moody, who battled back from cancer, make his RAF debut. UNDISCOVERED is a new, original series from RAF and FOX Nation built to find wrestling’s next breakout star. Moody competed in and won the series for his chance to be on the RAF mats. Moody was a former University of Iowa wrestler who has been in remission for three years from pancreatic cancer. His match against Cesar Alvan was challenging but seeing him on the biggest stage certainly inspired the fans.
The event also brought special guests to South Florida, including former UFC champion Kamaru Usman, who was promptly called out by Colby Covington in the post-event press conference. In typical RAF fashion, there was no shortage of callouts and namedrops. Earlier, RAF co-founders Chad Bronstein and Izzy Martinez confirmed the league is in talks with NFL great Ray Lewis to see his return to the wrestling mats for the first time since high school. Additionally, locations for Summer 2027 events were mentioned, with Times Square on the shortlist well in advance.
In partnership with the UFC, USA Wrestling, NIL organizations and the NCAA, athletes can compete in RAF regardless of status, creating meaningful opportunities for wrestlers at both the emerging and elite levels of their careers.
