Dylan Beever set for battle at Art of War Cage Fighting 26

Video interview with Dylan Beever above

Art of War Cage Fighting returns to Lebanon, Pennsylvania on Saturday night, October 29th.  AOW 26: Moser vs Vento is scheduled to take place at the Lebanon Expo Center.  This is an area of the Keystone State that loves MMA.  They show up in full force to drink some cold beer, and cheer on their regional favorites.

Main Event

“B Mo” Ben Moser (2-0) is a pillar in the community as he owns and operates Moser’s Mat Club, as well as coaching scholastic wrestling.  Moser welcomes Federico Vento to the cage.  Vento (3-6) comes in from Hawaii and will be returning to his proper weight class (135) as he has done battle with heavier opponents in his last few.

Co-main event

“Wild” Mike Kennedy is the reigning amateur AOW heavyweight champion.  He won his belt at AOW 23 with a dominating decision over Isiah Margheim.  On that same card, Mike Grybos had an impressive victory and will now challenge Kennedy for the AOW title.

On the undercard, we have an interesting matchup between Alex Komatick who is making his MMA debut and Dylan Beever.  Beever has gone 1-1 in his two bouts and is looking to continue his journey to becoming a professional fighter.  Dylan is currently a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps.

MyMMANews reached out to Beever to see how his third career fight camp went and how he is viewing his upcoming contest. He tells us…

“We know nothing about Komatick except that he is a purple belt in jiu jitsu. We will go in there and see where it goes. I have been working on striking combinations and technique and believe our jiu jitsu is the best.”

Please check out our interview on the link above.

I’m both happy and sad with the news that Beever is going to be finishing up his stint in the military and heading back to the west coast (Washington state) to continue his training while taking a job in a field that he loves.  MyMMANews will still follow this young warrior’s career and continue to tell his story.  Jeff Cressman and the team at Power Half Wrestling and MMA have done an excellent job of guiding Dylan and are helping him navigate to a new facility.

You can purchase this live streaming event on the Starfund App or find results right here at MyMMANews where we cover regional combat sports like no other.
