Finishers Night of Champions

Finishers Night of Champions Crowns 10 New Champs

On Saturday, January 22, 2022, the Finishers Sub Only crew held their first Night of Champions event at 10th Planet Bethlehem, located at 3713 Linden Street, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Earlier in the day was their first kids’ and teens’ Finishers Open, where anyone can register to compete under the EBI ruleset. At 5 p.m., the lights were set low and the cameras started rolling for the pro event, featuring competitors battling it out in 10 different divisions for a chance to earn the title of Finishers Sub Only Champion. As usual, the event was livestreamed for free on Zach Maslany‘s youtube page and you can watch the replay below.

This pro event was a bit different from the usual events in that it featured 10 different divisions with smaller brackets, as opposed to one or two 16-person brackets in order to earn the title. Even the lone superfight match was between two top 115 pound female competitors, Lauren Sears and Randi Miley. Both of those ladies will be back next month at the Finishers Sub Only 15, which will feature the usual 16-person bracket with the women’s 115 pound championship and a cash prize up for grabs. Finishers Sub Only has a busy schedule ahead this year with a pro event or open planned for every month, and all champion belt holders will be expected to defend their titles at upcoming events.
