Gillian Robertson is on course to fight for the second time since the start of the pandemic. The Canadian native last fought in June getting a rear-naked-choke submission victory over Cortney Casey.
Now she’s set to meet Poliana Botelho in a matchup to determine who continues to move up in the division. Both women will be looking to make a two-fight win streak following wins in their last contests.
Robertson’s plans going into the fight are the same as always: get the submission. Her ground game has been one of the best in the division, even surpassing Ronda Rousey’s record for most submissions.
In the full interview Robertson discusses what it means to surpass Rousey’s record, the matchup against Botelho, and much more.
