On Thursday, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) president David Feldman announced during a press conference for KnuckleMania 3 that Hardy will be making his debut on the card. It was later announced on social media that Hardy will take on Josh Watson, with the event taking place on February 17 in Albuquerque.

Hardy, meanwhile, was ecstatic to finally have his BKFC debut booked and he’s promising an entertaining fight for the fans.

“It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood,” Hardy said at the presser. “This is what I do. Big-time shows, big-time events. I hope ya’ll don’t miss it. Buy the tickets, because it’s going to be entertaining as hell. I never let you down. I never quit on you. Either I leave on a stretcher, or they leave on a stretcher, and it’s about to happen again. It’s about to be amazing. How can you not be excited about this?”

Greg Hardy (7-5 and one No Contest MMA) is 2-0 in boxing since being let go from the UFC. The former NFL Pro Bowler scored a second-round KO win over Mike Cook and then beat Hasim Rahman Jr. by decision in November. In the UFC, Hardy went 4-5 and one No Contest.

Josh Watson (1-1 BKFC) picked up his first win back at BKFC 28 in June with a first-round stoppage win over Kyle McElroy. In his BKFC debut, he suffered a 30-second knockout loss to Bryant Acheson.
