21-year-old flyweight Muhammad Mokaev talks about signing with the UFC and when he’d like to make his promotional debut. Muhammad also spoke about how he found out about the news, a potential matchup against Cody Durden and UFC welterweight Khamzat Chimaev reaching out after he signed with the UFC.
“He congratulated me. In 2018 I was watching him on Brave, I was fighting amateur at the time. He told me ‘why are you still amateur?’, I’m like ‘ok give me one more year’ Then he was like ‘stop smashing these amateurs, let’s go professional’. Now we’re two prospects in the UFC.”
