Marc-Andre Barriault vs. Dalcha Lungiambula moved to UFC London as August 14 card officially gets canceled

Marc-Andre Barriault will still fight Dalcha Lungiambula, but it will now happen on September 4.

The two middleweights were supposed to fight on August 14, yet sources confirmed to MyMMANews that, that event will not happen as there will be no UFC card on August 14. With that, the fight between Barriault and Lungiambula has been moved to September 4, which is targeted to take place in London, England, sourced told MyMMANews.

Marc-Andre Barriault (12-4) earned a dominant third-round TKO win over Abu Azaitar back at UFC 260 in March. The win was his first official victory inside the Octagon as he did TKO Oscar Piechota but the fight was overturned to a No Contest due to failed drug test from the Canadian. The 31-year-old started out his UFC run going 0-3 with decision losses to Andrew Sanchez, Krzysztof Jotko, and Jun Yong Park. Barriault is also the former TKO middleweight and light heavyweight champion. He holds notable wins over Todd Stoute, Adam Hunter, and Brendan Kornberger on the regional scene.

Dalcha Lungiambula (11-2) returned to the win column last time out with a decision win over Markus Perez on Fight Island back in January in his middleweight debut. He’s currently 2-1 inside the Octagon as he won his debut by TKO over Dequan Townsend and lost by KO to Magomed Ankalaev before he dropped down to 185lbs. The 35-year-old is also the former EFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion.

With the addition of Barriualt vs. Lungiambula, the UFC London card on Sept. 4 is now as follows:
