Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk: A Battle For The Ages

The Rematch is Official: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Anthony Joshua 2 set for August 20

The heavyweight world title rematch is finally set as Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua will meet in Saudi Arabia on August 20th.

Usyk (19-0-0, 13 KOs) entered the world of professional boxing back in 2013. During his career, he primarily boxed as a cruiserweight and became the first cruiserweight to simultaneously hold all four world title belts. Following his cruiserweight run, Usyk made the move to heavyweight in 2019. At heavyweight, he defeated Chazz Witherspoon and Dereck Chisora before getting a shot at then-champion, Joshua.

In September of last year, Usyk and Joshua squared off for the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight titles. Usyk would go on to defeat Joshua via unanimous decision and capture the heavyweight straps.

Highlights below:

Joshua (24-2-0, 22 KOs) has defeated some of the best in the division during his professional career. Leading up to this fight he has defeated the likes of Dillian Whyte, Wladimir Klitschko, Andy Ruiz Jr., and Kubrat Pulev.

Between 2016 and 2021, Joshua has been crowned the unified heavyweight boxing champion twice, having held WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles.

In August, the 26-year-old British boxing sensation will look to avenge his loss to Usyk and become the unified world champion for the third time.

The bout is to take place on August 20th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and is to be broadcasted on DAZN.

Who do you have winning the rematch?  Will is be Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua?
