Renzo Gracie arrested after NYC club altercation
World-renowned mixed martial artist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu superstar Renzo Gracie was arrested Sunday evening at the Manhattan, N.Y., night club 1-Oak according to sources.
Specifics into the arrest have not yet been released but according to a video released by Sherdog.com Gracie was involved in an altercation and tackled and choked someone. That someone is apparently a bouncer or doorman at 1-Oak and the incident happened when Gracie and his entourage proceeded to head to the front of the line.
According to the witness Gracie had the man in a full mount position and when the police arrested Gracie and crew, an ambulance arrived for the victim.
