Bare Knuckle FC interested in Tyson Fury: “He absolutely is on our radar”

Tyson Fury is arguably one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time.  After announcing his retirement from the sport of boxing earlier this year, several names were thrown around as possible opponents for ‘money fights’ that might entertain the ‘Gypsy King’ to keep him active.

Hafthor ‘Thor’ Bjornsson, Mike Tyson, Frank Bruno, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson were just a few of the personalities thrown into the mix for the former WBC and Ring Magazine champion.

Aside from boxing matches, Fury has even thought about entering the sport of mixed martial arts, having trained with many professional MMA fighters along the way including Nick Diaz and Darren Till.

Now another opportunity may be presented to Fury, one that likely won’t happen, but you never know.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship president David Feldman is interested in bringing the 6′ 9″ pugilist to the sport, sans gloves.

“I think it [signing Tyson Fury] is definitely possible, if they take us seriously because we are the new kid on the block, they might not listen to us. If they listen to us, then absolutely I think we can get a deal done,” Feldman told talkSPORT.

“He absolutely is on our radar; he would take this sport to a whole different level. You just saw it at Wembley Stadium with almost 100,000 people in there.

“I think Tyson Fury would take this to a whole other level and we would absolutely love to make a play for him.”

Bare Knuckle FC will be in Fury’s home country of England this weekend when they hold a card in London on Saturday.  Former UFC fighter Mike Perry headlines against Bellator MMA star Michael ‘Venom’ Page.
