CFFC 96 results – Main event canceled moments prior to scheduled start

Cage Fury Fighting Championships held CFFC 96 on Friday, May 28, live from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The card which was supposed to be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Rakim Cleveland and champion, Jamelle Jones, streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.

The action kicked off with a preliminary-card stream on Facebook.

Just moments prior to what was supposed to be the start of the night’s main event, CFFC President Rob Haydak made an announcement that the fight was removed from the card after Cleveland had fallen ill.  The promotion is looking to move the fight to tonight’s CFFC 97 fight card, part of the organizations’ two-night doubleheader.
