Curtis Blaydes talks upcoming Alexander Volkov fight, DC-Stipe 3

Curtis Blaydes is set to take on Alexander Volkov this weekend at UFC Vegas 3. The two heavyweight giants are set to clash in an important fight to determine the next contender in the division.
The title picture is quit complicated at heavyweight as Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier are set to fight for a third time. One things for sure though, don’t ask Blaydes who he has winning.
“I would be disingenuous if I tried to tell you ‘oh I know that Stipe’s going to win, or I know DC’s going to win,’ when we just watched them both beat each other in ways that we wouldn’t have predicted,” Blaydes said. “I’m not even going to attempt to use any brainpower to predict that.”
As for his fight Blaydes isn’t fazed by the height difference. Volkov stands at an impressive 6’7 but that won’t change anything for Blaydes.
“It’s just a number. When we’re in there he won’t be standing on the tip of his toes. He’s going to have a bend in his knees. He’s going to have a wide base to defend my wrestling. The best way to defend wrestling is to have a wide base. He’s going to shrink.”
