Erin Blanchfield previews Invicta FC title fight against UFC veteran Pearl Gonzalez

Interview with Erin Blanchfield above – Check it out

Erin Blanchfield (6-1) discusses her vacant Invicta FC flyweight title fight against Pearl Gonzalez (10-5) at Invicta FC 43 on Nov. 20  Erin also talks about how this opportunity came together, her training camp for this fight while also attending school and potentially earning a UFC contract with a victory. Even if a win doesn’t lead to a call up from the UFC, the 21-year-old feels like she’ll be in a win-win situation regardless.

“If I win the title then the target is going to be on my back. So there’s going to be people that want to fight me which is great. Either I’ll defend my belt in Invicta, or I’ll go in the UFC. I think either way there will be opportunities for me.”
