VIDEO: Fighter gets knocked out at XFN 19, continues to fight on

The main event at last week’s Xtreme Fighting Nation did not go without incident. Daniel Kay, the organization’s CEO tells MyMMANews that at XFN 19 on March 1, “Raiyan Anwaar landed a good right hand-left high kick and then dropped his opponent with another right. Ref jumped in but Max Handanagic was out but still in fight mode and continued to attack and the ref finally was able to separate them.”

Anwaar was declared the winner at 2:35 in the first round.

Watch the XFN 19 main event conclusion below:

The XFN event was held in association with Unconquered Promotions at The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in Coconut Creek, Florida.

Anwaar trains under the tutelage of multiple time world jiu jitsu, and EBI Combat Jiu Jitsu champion, Vagner Rocha, as well as the recently re-designed Blackzilians MMA team in south Florida. With the calibre of jiu jitsu training he gets, you would expect the 6’1 featherweight to showcase more of his submission skills but he continues to pick up knockout wins.
