Will Mayweather take on McGregor again?
I’m going to pose a question if you were to choose between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, which one of them do you think will win? They are considered as two of the most bickering businessmen in the industry. The funniest thing is that they start their feud by stalking each other on twitter. If you went back a few years ago, you’ll realize that is how it all began so that it could lead to their infamous boxing fight.
However, it seems that these two did not have enough of each other as rumors are circulating that there could be another Mayweather vs. McGregor boxing fight. But who is looking to dish out another $100 to see them fight?
How did the second beef begin?
If you are a fan of these two, then you know how the beef began. If not let me take you back to October 2018 just before McGregor went into the ring for the UFC 229 title against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Mayweather provoked McGregor by offering his gym so that McGregor could prepare for his final touches before he got in the ring. This led to a feud on Twitter of which I hope you had about where money sarcastically tweeted that he made the most comfortable 9 figure in his life, you have to admit if you were in McGregor’s shoes that might have hurt. However, fans did not want an “online fight” instead of that these two get in the ring and demolish each other like other MMA fighters.
What would it take for Money and the Irishman to get back in the ring?
After McGregor tapped out in 2016 at Nate Diaz fans thought that at least the loss would humble him. However, McGregor’s ego won’t let him be until he gets another Diaz fight.
Although Conor McGregor lost UFC 229 that has never stopped him from wanting to exact his revenge on Mayweather. However, fighting Money would not be that easy because if McGregor wants a rematch, then he knows that he has to dish out a lot of money both for the challenger and the UFC.
If Mayweather was to fight McGregor would it be boxing or MMA this time?
Mayweather has described himself that he can do it all. But after he went into retirement, we are not sure if anything apart from money can get him back in the ring. In the last fight with McGregor critics of Money think he won because it was a boxing fight. However think about it from this angle, if it were an MMA fight which is McGregor’s specialty would Mayweather still win?
Critics think that Mayweather would not even come out of the match alive. However, if you tell Mayweather that he can’t do it, then he will get in the gym and post a video of him doing martial arts. Do you think these two will ever fight again? Let us know what you think.
