Zed Montanez remains humble, ready for more work at Art of War 12
Zed Montanez has gotten off to a 2-0 start as a professional mixed martial artist. Art of War promoter Mike Bickings has said that Montanez possesses “UFC level talent.” That’s lofty standards and high praise, but Zedekiah is not allowing that to go to his head. His head coach and mentor, Sam Oropeza, has helped guide him to this point and keeps him grounded.
Please check out our video interview in the link above. Zed is such a nice young man and has a beautiful view of the sport of how it can not only help himself, but other young men and women. It was a pleasure talking to him. I’m excited for his future and seeing the next chapter in his journey.
Zed is matched up against Shelton Sales (3-2) at Art of War 12, set for Saturday May 11th at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia. Montanez brings a terrific supporting cast and camp as well as a strong fanbase.
I will be cageside for commentary with the ‘Big Homie’ Justin Haskell and Adam Crist will be on site bringing live results to the greatest combat sports website in the world, MyMMANews.com.
