Charly Arnolt first female UFC ring announcer in history after Joe Martinez falls ill mid-card at UFC Vegas 91
UFC history was made on Saturday night as Charly Arnolt became the first ever female ring announcer to work a UFC event. After Joe Martinez fell ill mid-card at UFC Vegas 91 in Las Vegas, the former WWE ring announcer turned roaming UFC reporter took over.
MMA reporter Mike Bohn posted as the event transpired inside the UFC Apex on April 27.
“This is a new one. Joe Martinez is under the weather so Charly Arnolt has stepped in mid-event as the octagon announcer at #UFCVegas91.
