Chris Rock’s younger brother Kenny signs for Celebrity Boxing fight
By now we are all sick of hearing about the “Slap Heard Around the World.” When actor Will Smith took to the stage to slap comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars last month, it made headlines across the globe.
Now, according to a report from TMZ, Kenny Rock, Chris’s younger brother, just signed a deal with Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman for a fight this summer down in Florida.
When asked who he would like to fight, Rock said: “Any and everybody. Anybody who is willing to step up to take on the challenge.”
While Kenny does not yet have an opponent for the contest, he’d like to step into the ring against Smith to get retribution. Kenny was asked if his brother should get in the ring with Will Smith and he replied, “I should get into the ring with Will Smith.”
It doesn’t look like Chris Rock or Kenny Rock will be getting into the ring against Smith anytime soon, but nonetheless, Kenny will have an opponent to be named here sometime in the near future.
The Celebrity Boxing event takes place June 11 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, FL.
Stay tuned for updates.
