Jorge Masvidal fires back at ‘pea brain’ Conor McGregor after recent comments

Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor have been taking shots at one another.

On Monday, Masvidal did an interview with ESPN Deportes and said he would love to fight McGregor. Yet, he doesn’t think the Irishman would take the fight as he thinks McGregor would be scared to fight him.

“This year, guaranteed return. I don’t know the date yet. I think that with two fights I can be in contention for the title or in a title contender fight. I would love to fight him at 170 pounds, but I don’t wait for anyone. If he wants to do it, I’ll break his face, if he doesn’t want to do it, let him come next… He is false, he knows that I am a man who hits hard and that I come to kill, I do not come to play hug in the cage, I am going to give everything inside me to kill him, and I have a little size, although now he’s injecting steroids and all kinds of things. But, he is still a little boy,” Masvidal said.

After seeing those comments, Conor McGregor then took to social media to rip Jorge Masvidal as he said: “An absolute pigeon brain this guy is. Stupid beyond belief,” yet the Irishman deleted the tweet.

Although McGregor deleted the tweet, Masvidal did see it and then took to social media himself to blast the Irishman and say this is the biggest fight of his life that he’s turning down.

“This pea brain is the biggest fight of your life. So you’re either too scared or too stupid to get this check,” Masvidal wrote on Twitter.

There’s no question Masvidal vs. McGregor would do massive numbers and does make some sense as both men are on losing streaks. However, it’s uncertain if the UFC or McGregor has an interest in making it but Masvidal hopes it happens.
