On November 9 in Casper, Wyoming, the debut event for World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation “Rise of the Titans” will take place. The featured fight of the the FS1 prelims will see UFC vet Josh “The Dentist” Neer, who has 53 fights in MMA against Albuquerque’s “Mad” Mike Alderete, who has 16 professional boxing matches on his record. Mika Frankl caught up with Alderete at Luttrell/Yee MMA & Fitness, while working with his coach Sergio Chavez. “Mad” Mike talk about how he has always wanted to be apart of Bare Knuckle Boxing. We also discuss the differences in preparing for a Bar Knuckle versus a traditional Boxing match, including hand conditioning. Plus what will be the keys to a victory?
This Friday (10/16/18) WBKFF will announce the 8th participant of there one tournament which currently includes Nick Gonzalez, Isaac Vallie-Flagg, Jay Cucciniello, Estevan Payan, Robbie Peralta, Leon Mynhardt, & Mike Bronzoulis. The first round bouts will be matched by drawing, which will be done at a press conference on November 8. The event will start on Fox Sports 1 with a fight prelim card before going to PPV/Fite TV.
