Ricky Bandejas full Bellator 249 media day press conference

Ricky Bandejas looks to cement his status as a top five Bellator bantamweight against Leandro Higo at Bellator 249 on Thursday, Oct. 15.

Bandejas is fresh off a unanimous decision defeat to Sergio Pettis at Bellator 242 back in July. It snapped a two-fight win streak for the New Jersey native.

Bandejas will meet Higo on the Bellator 249 main card at the Mohegun Sun Arena in California. Higo last fought over a year ago. He snapped a two-fight skid by beating Shawn Bunch via second-round submission at Bellator 228 in September 2019.

On Tuesday, Oct. 13, Ricky Bandejas spoke with MyMMANews and other media outlets during today’s Bellator 249 media day. Bandejas touched on his status in the division and his upcoming bout with Higo.
