21-year-old identical twin sisters Charity and Courtney LaBuy will compete at Pure FC 11, a mixed martial arts event at the Menominee Nation Arena, run by Pure Fighting Championships of Milwaukee, on October 27.
The twins currently train at Unified Martial Arts in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The this is the not first time the two ladies have competed on a fight card together. They both fought and won together on March 11, 2017 at King of the Cage: Bloody War. They attempted to repeat history in March of this year but both came up short via unanimous decision losses at Chosen Few FC 14.
The upcoming Oshkosh fight will be Courtney’s fifth and Charity’s fourth since starting training.
Courtney and Charity are full-time students in their fourth year of school. Courtney is majoring in secondary education; Charity in psychology with a philosophy minor. Both work part time.
Charity holds a 2-1 amateur record while her sister Courtney sits at 3-1. Charity will fight Jenna Williams in an strawweight matchup. Coutney’s opponent is Savanna Tarver.
