Upcoming sporting events that will see increased betting activity
Sporting events are finally up and running all across the globe after near and or partial shutdowns due to the ongoing pandemic. With many of our favorite activities back in full swing, here is a list of a handful of upcoming sporting events that one can place wagers on.
FIFA World Cup
The 2022 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be the 22nd running of the FIFA World Cup competition, the quadrennial international men’s football championship contested by the senior national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022. This will be the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arab world,[1] and it will be the second World Cup held entirely in Asia after the 2002 tournament was held in South Korea and Japan. In addition, the tournament will be the last to involve 32 teams, with an increase to 48 teams scheduled for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
UFC 276
Two UFC titles are on the line next weekend at UFC 276 in Las Vegas. UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya defends his title against Jared Cannonier, while a trilogy bout for the featherweight strap pairs champion Alexander Volkanovski up against former champion Max Holloway for the third time. 96Ace Casino Malaysia currently lists both defending champions as favorites to win, but anything can change at a moment’s notice.
MLB All-Star Game
This 2022 All-Star Game will mark the fourth time in franchise history that the Dodgers will hold the Midsummer Classic, including the third time in Los Angeles and the second at Dodger Stadium, which last staged the event in 1980. Previously, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum was the site of the second All-Star Game of the 1959 season and in the franchise’s Brooklyn lineage, Ebbets Field hosted the 1949 All-Star Game. While the ballots are still being tallied to tell which players will make it to the game, Online Sportsbook Malaysia lists the American League as the favorite to win.
