The targeted location for the event is the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The promotion is still waiting for the Nevada Athletic Commission’s approval on the return of combat sports in the state.
Hooper made his UFC debut back in December 2019. He made quick work of Daniel Teymur with a first-round TKO at UFC 245. Hooper is unbeaten in 10 fights with one draw against Lashawn Alcocks at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 71 in December 2018.
The 20-year-old has a knack for stoppages, earning seven finishes out of his nine victories. Hooper has beaten his last three opponents in two rounds or less.
An alum of “The Ultimate Fighter” season 12, Caceres has fought inside the octagon since March 2011. He most recently beat Steven Peterson by unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 4 in July 2019.
“Bruce Leroy” has struggled since 2014, going 5-7 in his last 12 bouts. The last time Caceres won consecutively came June 2016.
His longest unbeaten streak in the UFC started in 2012, defeating Damacio Page, Motonobu Tezuka, Roland Delorme and Sergio Pettis. His bout with Kyung Ho Kang at UFC on FUEL TV 8 in March 2013, was ruled a no contest.
Headlining UFC 250 is women’s featherweight champion Amanda Nunes and challenger Felicia Spencer. The main event is available on pay-per-view, while the prelims will be on ESPN and ESPN+/UFC Fight Pass.
