On September 26, OKTAGON will take over Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt for its flagship event, staged in front of 60,000 fans. Through DAZN, audiences around the globe will be able to experience the full scale and electric atmosphere of this spectacular football stadium event, bringing one of Europe’s most ambitious combat sports productions to a much wider international audience.

The partnership will also feature OKTAGON 100 in Prague on December 29. The milestone event will celebrate OKTAGON’s tenth anniversary with a stacked fight card and a special tribute to the fighters, fans and defining moments that have shaped the organisation’s first decade.

“This partnership is about opening the doors to OKTAGON for millions of fans around the globe,” states Pavol Neruda, co-founder of OKTAGON. “We have built something unique in Europe, and DAZN gives us the platform to showcase it on a much bigger international stage. There could not be a better moment to come back together – with our flagship event taking place at Frankfurt’s football stadium and OKTAGON 100 showing just how far the organisation has come and where we want to take it next.”

“By partnering with OKTAGON, we’re expanding DAZN’s world leading combat sports offering and bringing a fast-growing, exciting MMA promotion to our global audience,” says Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group. “Together, we’ll give fans unprecedented access to some of the sport’s most anticipated events while supporting OKTAGON’s next phase of international expansion.”

The agreement represents another step in OKTAGON’s international expansion, giving MMA fans around the world access to the promotion’s biggest events through DAZN.

DAZN’s coverage will exclude Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Greece, Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Brazil, the Scandinavian markets and Iceland, where existing local broadcast agreements remain in place.
