John Gotti III talks win at CES NY 1
John Gotti III, son of John Gotti Jr. and grandson of famed mob boss John Gotti, competed at CES NY 1 last night. He defeated Eddie Haws by knockout in under a minute.
I was able to catch up with Gotti III to talk about his win.
Coming off a massive knockout win, how did it feel doing it in New York for the first time as a pro and in front of your friends and family in the audience?
John Gotti III: No better feeling in the world. I’m on cloud nine right now. To fight a lot of my amateur fights here, have my pro debut and come back here in front of my fans, friends and family, there is no better feeling in the world.
It was a quick fight; did you think you’d get that fast of a finish?
JGIII: “I felt like if I connected early and I landed, If I land on anybody I think I can knock you out. I was expecting a prettier fight but hey I’ll take the win.”

That was a counter punch I believe…
JGIII: “I seen him come with the overhand and I timed him with a counter left hook and that was it.”
What is next for John Gotti III?
JGIII: “I’m going to sit down with my team and whatever makes the most sense, this is a business at the end of the day. Hopefully back here in New York again.”
What would you like to say to all of your fans?
JGIII: “Thank you guys for always supporting me and coming through. And no matter what like I said, win, lose or draw I will show up for you guys.
