Kayla Harrison offered Masvidal judo tips in exchange for hair care products

Kayla Harrison continued her winning streak at PFL 4 Thursday evening when she submitted Morgan Frier in the first round. Harrison’s win comes off of a heavy victory streak for her and her training partners at American Top Team (ATT). During the post-fight press conference, Harrison was asked how she felt when she saw fellow ATT teammate, Jorge Masvidal land the knee that was the highlight finish of UFC 239 and she shared in the excitement everyone else felt with the finish.

“Oh my god,” Harrison reacted, “he is insane!” referring to his first round finish over Ben Askren. Before both of their fights, Harrison said Masvidal has actually asked for some judo tips in case he got stuck with Askren against the cage. Harrison said that she agreed as long as he would give her some hair care products in return. Masvidal offered her a discount on whatever he uses for her hair but after his win, Harrison said she wants it for free.

Neither Masvidal nor Harrison needed too much past the first round of both their fights as they both got finishes by doing what they do best. While Harrison is happy she submitted her opponent, she did say she would rather have kept the fight standing a little longer. Harrison’s victory has her facing Genah Fabian in the playoffs who also scored a first-round finish at the start of the evening.

While Fabian is Harrison’s next opponent, the belief is that she will eventually have to face Sarah Kaufman who is the top-ranked lightweight currently in the PFL according to their rankings. Kaufman is scheduled to face Larissa Pacheco in the playoffs who also earned a first-round finish over Bobbi Jo Dalziel at PFL 4.

Who has the better hair, Harrison or Masvidal?
