Long Island MMA: Triton Fights Lightweight Bobby Casale Interview

Bobby Casale makes his mixed martial arts debut this Friday night at Triton Fights 3. The event takes place under the lights at The Space at Westbury in Westbury, New York. Casale is a lightweight fighter that trains out of Long Island MMA gym in Farmingdale, NY. Long Island MMA is a premier MMA gym on Long Island, NY, which hosts an abundance of UFC and Bellator MMA fighters. Casale is scheduled to battle Adrian Sanchez in a novice amateur bout on the preliminary card.

CasaleOn Sunday, June 25, 2017, Casale joined Sports On The Go1 MMA radio show, Cage Den MMA. Cage Den MMA is hosted by Errol Marks and My MMA News‘ reporter Kyle Carroll. On the show, Marks and Carroll spoke to Casale about his upcoming debut. They talked about his training, his likes and dislikes outside of the cage, and much more.

Casale (0-0), 19-years-old, has goals of following the footsteps of his Long Island MMA teammates, Eric Ott (Triton Fights Middleweight champion) and John Gotti (Triton Fights Welterweight Champion) of becoming a Triton Fights champion. The lightweight talked about how his friendship with UFC fighter, Dennis Bermudez formulated. Casale mentioned how Bermudez has become his mentor and he was able to see a full UFC camp as he joined the UFC fighter through the journey.

The Trion Fights 3 takes place on Friday, June 30, 2017, at The Space at Westbury, in Westbury, NY. Triton Fights co-owner, Tom Kilkenny also called into the show. Fights are scheduled to jump off at 7:30 pm.

Sports On The Go1 is a Long Island-based digital radio station. They host their MMA radio show, Cage Den MMA on Sunday’s at 1 pm. They usually attract local talent to their show. Their guests have included Bellator’s, Jerome Mickle, UFC’s Gerald Meerschaert III, and numerous local amateur fighters.
