Vicente Luque talks Niko Price fight, traveling to the US, and more
Vicente Luque heads into UFC 249 set to rematch the surging Niko Price. The pair fought previously back in 2017 where the Brazilian won by submission.
Luque was originally set to fight Randy Brown in April before an injury forced Brown out of the fight. Then he was rebooked to face Price for the ill-fated UFC 249 back in April.
Now Luque finally has a fight finalized and he’s been training in Brazil leading up the bout. He’ll be able to travel to the USA because he’s an American citizen.
Fighting is only half the battle with everything going on in the world at the moment. Traveling safely is number one before eventually holding a safe event. Luque is confident the UFC will do everything to keep everyone safe.
