UFC Fight Night 68 adds two more bouts for New Orleans Card
UFC Fight Night 68 is starting to shape up with the addition of its fifth and sixth matches added to the card. UFC FN 68 is set to take place June 6th in New Orleans, Louisana. The main event is between top light heavyweight contenders Daniel Cormier and Ryan Bader. The card added a heavyweight battle between Shawn Jordan and Derrick Lewis, and a welterweight showdown between veteran Brian Ebersole and Alan Jouban.
Heavyweight slugger Shawn Jordan (17-6) is clicking on all cylinders with back-to-back TKO/KO wins. Jordan now has 13 of his 17 wins come by way of TKO / KO, with his recent win coming at the start of 2015, when he knocked out Jared Cannonier at UFC 182. Jordan’s opponent, Derrick Lewis (12-3), is no stranger to finishing fights either. Lewis just won at UFC 184 when he knocked defeated Ruan Potts via TKO, earning his 11th TKO / KO victory in 12 wins. Lewis is now 3-1 in the UFC. With both fighters starting to win, a top 15 appearance in the rankings might be at stake.
Brian Ebersole will appear in his 70th professional fight (51-16-1, 1 NC), and look to build off of a split decision victory he earned over John Howard at UFC 178. Prior to his win over Howard, Ebersole lost back-to-back in the UFC, Ebersole is now 5-2 in the UFC. Alan Jouban (11-3) also competed at UFC 184, defeating Richard Walsh via TKO in the first round. Jouban is now 2-1 in the UFC and will be facing a very experienced Ebersole.
