Cage Warriors 115 Adds Title Fight Between Jack Cartwright and Gerardo Fanny

The Trilogy, as it has become known as, continues to shape up. At Cage Warriors 115, The undefeated Jack Cartwright is set to defend his bantamweight title against Gerardo Fanny. The fight marks the fifth title on the line in The Trilogy for Cage Warriors. This one takes place on September 25th in Manchester at the Bec Arena.

Cartwright won his title in the Bantamweight Grand Prix last September at Cage Warriors: Unplugged 2. Cartwright beat Scott Malone and Marko Kovacevic in the same night, both being first round finishes. He then defended his belt against Manuel Bilic at CW112. Coming into Cage Warriors 115, Cartwright sits at 8-0 with seven finishes.

On the other side of the cage from Cartwright is Gerardo Fanny. At 9-1, Fanny is one of the best Dutch prospects in the sport. Resently signing to Paradigm Sports, Fanny looks to capture Cage Warriors gold at CW115, becoming champion as his stablemates at Paradigm have before him.

The title fight puts more stakes on the line for The Trilogy and will provide a great weekend of entertainment for fans.

Building Cage Warriors 115 and The Trilogy

With the addition of Cartwright-Fanny, Cage Warriors 115 adds more clout to it’s already stacked card. In addition to their title fight, Nathias Frederick and Jamie Richardson are set to fight for the middleweight belt. Other fighters on the card include local stars such as James Webb, Jack Grant, Ian Garry and more.

In addition to the two at CW115, you have Adam Proctor and Mason Jones fighting for the welterweight title, Morgan Charriere and Max Coga fighting for the featherweight title, and Samir Faiddine and Luke Shanks fighting for flyweight gold.
