Mandel Nallo hoping to fight on UFC Vancouver after highlight reel DWCS victory
Mandel Nallo (13-3) recaps his first round TKO victory over Samuel Silva (13-4-1) at Dana White’s Contender Series on Sept 2. Mandel also spoke about the feedback since the win, encouragement from Georges St-Pierre before the fight and hoping his broken nose would heal in time for UFC Vancouver next month.

“I want to fight on that card (UFC Vancouver). But I broke my nose so I might not be able to. I’ll need to get cleared. My wife actually is a doctor, and she straightened it out for me in the hotel room. I was the most nervous about that, because I was like the adrenaline was down and is this going to hurt? She’s a great doctor and she did a great job. My nose is now straight; I just need to make sure it doesn’t get knocked around too much. So, either Vancouver, but definitely before the end of the year.”
