Dustin Poirier and Bruce Buffer take over Call Center shift
Fight night is calling! Bud Light, the Official Beer Sponsor of UFC, is officially answering the call to bring the crew together for fight night in a new campaign featuring UFC legends Bruce Buffer and Dustin Poirier. Together, the duo star in “Call Center,” a new commercial where they each receive a case of Bud Light in exchange for covering a shift at the Call Center for two UFC fans.
But that’s not all – inspired by the “Call Center” commercial, Bud Light is giving UFC fans ages 21+ the chance to call Bruce and Dustin themselves and request to ditch the desk for tickets with their crew at UFC 322 as part of the brand’s “Fight Night PTO: Paid Time at the Octagon” activation. Bud Light is committed to doing anything for UFC fans to ensure they can enjoy fight nights with their crew, and is now teaming up with the two UFC icons to cover a fans’ shift on fight night.
Todd Allen, SVP of Marketing for Bud Light at Anheuser-Busch, said: “Bud Light has been there for countless UFC moments, so we know well how the sport’s athletes, broadcasters and fans will do anything to enjoy fight night. Nobody has embodied that better throughout their careers than Bruce and Dustin, making them the perfect fit to not only appear in our new commercial, but also lead the way in helping ensure fans of Bud Light and UFC are able to enjoy UFC 322 live, courtesy of our Fight Night PTO. We can’t wait to see you and your crew in New York with a Bud Light in hand.”
Bud Light Unveils the “Call Center”
“Call Center” opens as one UFC fan asks his friends how they were able to get off work for a UFC fight night as they each crack open an ice-cold Bud Light. Suddenly, we flash to Bruce Buffer on a headset in one of his famous jackets and hear the iconic “IT’S TIME” greeting, only to realize he’s not announcing a fight, but instead taking a customer service call alongside Dustin Poirier, who immediately drops an elbow to a three-hole punch. In a hilarious nod to the great lengths Bud Light and UFC legends will go for fans to enjoy fight night with their crew. Call Center is set to run in :30 format starting today.

I never thought my next job would be at a call center, but it’s sure been fun celebrating and giving back to the UFC fans who supported me throughout my career.”
Bud Light partner and legendary UFC announcer, Bruce Buffer, said: “I’ve always been known for my voice, so getting to use that outside of the Octagon was a ton of fun. Bud Light welcomed Buffer into the Bud Light family at UFC 320 earlier this month. Together with Buffer and Poirier, Bud Light’s campaign builds on its commitment to going great lengths to bring UFC fans together for some of its biggest moments.
