Aoriqileng blasts Cody Durden for ‘disgusting’ comments he made: ‘He is a coward’

Aoriqileng is not happy with the comments Cody Durden made after their fight.

On the prelims of UFC Vegas 43 last Saturday, Durden edged out a decision win over Aoriqileng but after the fight, he made a controversial comment as he said he was sending his opponent back to China. Immediately, fans at the Apex started to boo him and Daniel Cormier didn’t ask him another question and he said on the broadcast that if you say something like that the interview is done.

After the event, however, Durden took to social media and revealed Aoriqileng was disrespectful to him, and he apologizes if he offended anyone. Yet, he also said at the post-fight press conference if fighters are mad at him they can sign the contract and fight him.

“Listen, the guy was disrespectful, and wouldn’t shake my hand at the weigh ins,” Durden wrote on Twitter. “After beating him, I simply meant he could go home wherever that may have been. I apologize if I offended anyone, that certainly was not my intention!! I love you all! See you at the top.”

Although Cody Durden got all the mic time given he won, Aoriqileng didn’t say anything about the comment. He now has taken to social media where he blasted the Georgian over his comments.

I destroyed this coward in the cage, but the judges gave him a chance to say something disgusting through his disgusting mouth. He can do nothing in the fight, and I saw fear through his eyes. He is a coward,” Aoriqileng wrote on Instagram.

Aoriqileng is now 18-9 with the loss and is 0-2 in the UFC. He dropped his debut to Jeff Molina at UFC 261 which was the Fight of the Night. Whether or not he gets another fight in the UFC is uncertain, but it is clear he isn’t happy with Durden.
