UFC coming to Bangor, Maine
The first ever UFC event held in the state of Maine was announced last night and the President of the largest MMA organization in the world was so excited he accidentally tweeted the wrong date.
@danawhite tweeted “For all the UFC fans in Maine I got Bangor done!! August 15th at the brand-new Cross Insurance Center for UFC Fight Night on FOXSports 1. :)”
He then went back to correct the mistake by saying “LMFAO!!! So excited I tweeted the wrong date it’s Aug 16th Bangor for UFC Fight Night on FOXSports 1. Sorry”
So, the biggest mixed martial arts event to ever be held in the state will be Saturday, Aug. 16, but the big question is “who will be on it?”
Will former UFC heavyweight champion Tim ‘the Maine-iac’ Sylvia be called up? Or how about Marcus Davis?
