Djikasa and Mbuyi To Clash For Gold At EFC 98
The EFC 98 main event bout between Matunga Djikasa and Vandam Mbuyi has been confirmed and what’s more, it will be for the EFC Heavyweight Championship.
The heavyweight championship clash will be an all-DRC battle between the two as they vie to be the ones holding the coveted 265lb gold of the African continent.
The two had a heated face-off at EFC 96 following Djikasa’s victory over Ivan Strydom, and that’s where the rumble of a potential clash between the two occurring began.
With the EFC Heavyweight championship vacant, this turns up the ante on this already heated feud with both fighters looking to claim the gold and prove themselves as the fighting pride of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
