Solis fights out of Jungle Gym in the Bronx. A gym that shows great support and dedication to their fighters. Solis discusses his time while at Jungle Gym. He also informs us what he learned about himself in his last bout against an amateur champion in Maldonado.

The 3-1 flyweight describes how much he has thought about his only blemish on his record and how much he’d like a rematch against Pedro Villa in the future. Solis has two wins by decision and one by a submission choke.

This young amateur flyweight is among the top tier fighters in New York State and has the potential to develop a long-lasting career. Solis also brings a mental advantage into the fight-game that many fighters don’t normally have at this level. Carroll and Solis also talked about diet, training, and what he hopes to gain out of being an MMA fighter.
