Lenny “The Gorilla” Rufati feeling great about his progression, looks for 2-0 at ROC 67

Last year, Lenny Rufati relocated from Southern New Jersey and couldn’t have been luckier as his residence in Wisconsin is close to Roufusports where he now trains.  The hard working “Gorilla” Rufati has put his nose to the grindstone and fit right into the team.  Most days he is training with guys like Paul Felder, Tyron Woodley, or Anthony Pettis just to name a few.  This experience has helped Lenny improve on a regular basis.

In his professional debut at ROC 66, Lenny grinded his way to a decision and dominated with nine double-leg takedowns over Tiger Schulmann prospect, Andy Segovia.  Coming up on February 22, Rufati looks to keep the zero in his loss column as he returns to his roots once again and battles Mike DiOrio (1-3) at Ring of Combat 67 at the Tropicana Showroom in Atlantic City, N.J.  I am quite sure that Louis Neglia Jr. enjoys having the Gorilla on the card as he always brings a horde of fans and energy to the building.

Please listen into Lenny’s interview in the link below.  He brings us up to date on how his fighting career is going and what’s in store for the 22nd.  MyMMANews will be cageside for live results and photos.  The card features two of the top regional talents in the area as ROC featherweight champion Bill ” Senor Perfecto” Algeo and ROC bantamweight champion Phil “The Hitman” Caracappa defend their titles.
