Muay-Thai Sensation Dakota Ditcheva On Making Pro-MMA Debut Saturday At Caged Steel 25

Interview with Dakota Ditcheva above – Check it out

Dakota Ditcheva (4-0 AM) discusses her professional MMA debut Jenny Line (3-6 AM) at Caged Steel 25 on April 10. Dakota also talks about how she got into combat sports, training with UFC Lerone Murphy, and why now was the right time to go from the amateur ranks to professional.

“We’ve been thinking about it for a while. There’s obviously a lack of girls in the sport anyways. Opponents and things like that, I was struggling to get. We were going abroad for most of them. I’ve had four amateur (fights) now. With the COVID situation as well, I was going to struggle to get fights going into the country. So it kind of pushed it along a little bit. I’m looking for the tougher opponents anyways so the step up in competition  is something I’m expecting anyway.”

Dakota was part of the British team that won International Federation of Muay Thai Amateur World Championships in Jönköping, Sweden. She is three-time world champion and Daily Mirror and Sport England Pride of Sports Young Sportsperson of the Year.
