Rose Namajunas sustains hand injury at UFC Paris

Former two-time UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas has revealed a gnarly hand injury sustained in her UFC Paris co-main event flyweight bout against Manon Fiorot.

MMA reporter Ariel Helwani posted a picture of what appears to be a broken hand and or finger.

This is how Rose Namajunas’ right hand looked last night when she took off her gloves,” Helwani’s post read. “The injury happened in the first.”

Namajunas’ manager Brian Butler of Suckerpunch Entertainment followed up with, “Rose is in good spirits. Broke her right hand early in the first round and couldn’t fully execute because of it.”

Namajunas would go on to lose her flyweight debut by way of unanimous decision.
