Tedrick Macklin (4-0) discusses his lightweight fight against Nico Echeverry (12-5) at Fury FC 76 this Friday. Terdrick also talked about how he got into MMA, working as a UPS factory worker during the day and why he could be headed to the UFC soon.
“One of the reasons for taking an opponent like this – showcasing a win over a former champ – he has a winning record. He’s won his past two (fights) or what not. we’re hoping this gives me a Contender Series shot or a late notice (fight in the UFC) I think especially a finish over him, he hasn’t been finished a ton. I think I put (Echeverry’s) lights out. I can’t see them not giving me a shot with my resume.”
