Angela Jennings to make pro MMA debut in Memphis, Tennessee
Despite not having competed in the amateur rankings more than a year and a half, Angela Jennings will look to make her pro debut, Nov. 18 in Memphis, Tennessee. Jennings will meet Jessica Sotack in the center of the V3 Fights cage at Minglewood Hall.
Sotack hold a professional record of one win, one loss, and one draw. The draw came recently at Bellator 182 against Kristi Lopez. Prior to turning pro she also earned a draw in the amateur system where her fight record was four wins, one loss, and one draw.
Jennings lost a tough first round submission in the main event of XFN 7 against Trisha Cicero in February 2016. Jennings was supposed to make her pro debut earlier this year against Christina Daniels for Warrior Xtreme Cagefighting (WXC) in Southgate, Michigan. That fight ended up being cancelled.
She recently moved back to Michigan after training and living in Florida for more than a year. Jennings competes at 115 pounds and currently a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
